Happy St. Patricks!!

Here are the kids in their green attire. I found the cutest shamrock dress for Mila!! The shot of the three of us was taken by holding the camera out and hoping for the best - it works out once in a while!

Bowling

We went bowling with our neighbors Jomar & Ricaphel and their kids as well as our neighbors Steve and Teresa and their kids.

Zavier had so much fun - he was very excited.

A visit from Grandpa Bill and Diana

Jared's dad came to visit and Zavier didn't take long before getting him a guitar and getting him on stage. It was a nice visit.

Could she be any cuter??

Storytime with Daddy and a "new" look for Zavier

Here is an adorable picture I snapped of my family enjoying a book together. I love to see them all doing something together that everyone enjoys.

Also, an interesting look I caught Zavier in while playing the harmonica. Who knows what he was thinking. I love his personality - I never get bored.

The vacuum guitar - what a nut!!

Happy Valentines Day

We had the cutest sunglasses for the kids on V-day this year. Here are a couple of pics with our little sweethearts.

The rake guitar - need I say more?

My favorite weekend morning event

Here is a picture Jared got of Zavier and I snuggling while watching cartoons (or the food network) together on a weekend morning - he is such a sweetie.

A visit with Grandma and Grandpa Mac

This was a weekend visit with the McMahons and we got the best pics!! As always the kids were spoiled and everyone had a great time. Mila also had her first "pretty" in her hair - too cute!

Mila has officially outgrown the bassinet - don't you think?

The BIG 3-0

I turned 30 this year - gulp!

Mom was here which was very nice!

Jared made the day so special for me. I woke up to flowers and a gift - my ipod touch. There were also very nice cards from both him and the kids. I headed off to work and Jared showed up with a cake big enough to serve all 45 employees at work along with more flowers and balloons. It was such a nice surprise. After work I was surprised with a cake that my mom helped Zavier make and decorate.

I have such a thoughtful family!!

Zavier the guitarist

Ever since I took Zavier to see the Laurie Berkener Band he is absolutely obsessed with playing the guitar. He has two "real" guitars but can turn any object into a guitar at the drop of a hat. He has even gone so far as to "rename" the family as members of the band. I am Laurie, Zavier is Adam and Jared, much to his dismay, is Suzie. I love it when we are in public and Zavier calls Jared Suzie - we have gotten some funny looks!

Here are a couple of shots of us giving a concert on the "stage" also known as the fireplace. Zavier will get up there with a guitar and say "Hello Chicago" - what a nut!

Mila's first cereal

We gave Mila her first cereal on December 29th and she did great! Our pediatrician had us wait an extra month because she was so early, but she was ready for the new challenge.

She spit it out like a champ!

A Borchardt Christmas

We had a nice time at my Mom's house the weekend after the holiday. There is never a dull moment when Zavier gets together with his cousins.

They all had a great time tackling Uncle Scott - something Zavier looks forward to now!

Our first Christmas at home

This was Jared an my first Christmas in our home since we have been married. We decided to stay home for the actual holiday and let Zavier know what it's like to wake up in his own home on Christmas day to Santa's presents.

We started a great tradition of a really delicious breakfast prepared by Jared and then a morning of opening presents and playing with our new toys in our pajamas all day - we had such a great day!

This is an awesome picture of Zavier trying on Jaredn't new bike helmet. He also loved playing with his new "kitchen" stuff. I was hoping getting him his own stuff would keep him out of my utensil drawer but no such luck.

A McMahon Christmas

We had such a nice time at the McMahon Christmas this year. We had it the weekend before the holiday and it was a very nice, relaxing day. Once again, we all got way too spoiled :)
Zavier opened all his presents while saying, "hurry - what is it" over and over. What a great age!!

Our Santas

Ok - so I know it has been a ridiculously long time since my last post and I have so much to share and so many pics - so enjoy!!

This is a picture we took of the kids to put in ornaments for the grandparents for Christmas - we think they are the cutest Santas ever!
